This set has worked quite great for me. Over the years, we have collected a lot of stuff. The great thing about this 5-piece set is that it comes with a lot of storage space. The nightstands have double drawers on them in which we have stored some of our books and knick-knacks. The armoire is sufficient to hold our formal dresses. There is also a chest of drawers and the dressing table has practical drawers and storage too. I also love the mirror that comes with it as it merges into the wall so well, but the storage alone would make this a dream set for moms or people who have a lot of stuff. For people who do not have belongings increasing with the increase in family or who have smaller rooms, the bed can be bought without the chest and the armoire. I have added plush carpeting to complete the effect of warmth that this set inspires. The wood is of high quality and holds the structure rather well. I have not even needed to polish it yet.
